The new Riverhead Village Hall was opened in 1999, replacing the earlier Memorial Hall erected by public subscription after the First World War. It provides a venue for many different local societies, activities and events including St Mary’s Pre-School.

Both the main hall (13.5 x 6.5 metres) and small committee room are available for hire, however there are currently no further availability for regular hirers. If you wish to enquire about reservations for a one off event, please download and complete the request to reserve form and email it to clerk@riverheadparishcouncil.org.uk Alternatively you can call the Caroline, the Clerk on 01732 461278. She works part time, but there is an answer machine to leave a message.

The building also houses the office of the Parish Clerk, who can be visited on Monday and Thursday mornings between 9.30am and 12.30pm.

Facilities include:

  • Music and dancing licence 
  • Comfortable seating and tables for up to 80
  • Fully equipped kitchen with microwave ovens and serving hatch to the main hall
  • Committee room for smaller meetings
  • Full disabled access, including toilets
  • Very reasonable rates
  • One-off bookings are accepted, but there is currently no further availability for regular hire.
